Still Alembic Dome & Copper Condensor | T500 Pot | Still Spirits
These additions transform the T500 or Grainfather into an Alembic Pot Still. Instead of stripping flavours to give clean spirit like the T500, this pot still retains and enhances flavours. This can be used when distilling washes that contain flavours that you wish to collect. Detail When Using With The T500 (not included): The Pot Still Alembic Condenser is best used with the T500 Boiler and the Pot Still Alembic Dome Top. You can use this with the T500 Boiler without the Pot Still Alembic Dome Top, to do this it fits on to the lid of the T500 Boiler. This condenser is what differentiates this still from the T500. It is what retains the flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set. The Pot Still Alembic Dome Top is copper and fits on to your T500 Boiler. This can be used in place of the T500 Boiler's stainless steel lid. The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapour in the still and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as remove unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit. Details When Using With The Grainfather (not included): Turn the Grainfather (not included) into a micro distillery by attaching the Alembic Condenser and Dome Top as shown in picture above.The Alembic pot still attachments can be used to distil both water and alcohol, you must check the legal requirements of your country of residence regarding alcohol distillation and obtain all necessary licences and permits before using this equipment for distilling alcohol. Whiskeys are also made from grain and follow a similar process to brewing beer in the Grainfather.
