Masters Chair | Metalized Copper Armchair | Set Of 2 | Kartell | Philippe Starck
Kartell was founded in 1949 in Milan by Anna Castelli Ferrieri and Giulio Castelli, the company is synonymous with progressive Italian design. The Masters chair is designed by Philippe Starck, who is iconic in modern design having produced some of the most recognisable and prolific designs of the 20th Century. This chair is a hybrid of 3 designs from Kartell, the Tulip armchair by Eero Saarinen, the Eiffel chair by Charles Eames, and the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen. He fuses the three iconic shapes together on the back to create this Masters Chair which see the lines flow continuously creating interesting voids and patterns in the new shaped back. This metalized copper finish creates a striking and bold design feature.
